On TV you see high frame rate content every day (well, if you still watch traditional television, that is). It's just that big Hollywood movies (and fictional films in general) were not shot in HFR before. But all sports content, many documentaries and most news are 50 to 59.94 Hz (depending on where you leave) on traditional TV (not when viewed over the web, of course).
